What are the Client and Server licenses?
The Client License refers to a type of license that permits a specified number of authorized users, as indicated on the order form, to access the IPTV product. Each authorized user, as of the effective date of the license, can utilize the IPTV services provided by WISI. This ensures that only the designated users can access the content, maintaining control and security over the distribution and usage of the IPTV streams. On the other hand, the Server License pertains to a single license assigned to a server owned, hosted, and operated by the customer. This license allows the server to access the licensed IPTV product, provided it has the necessary Author or Client Access Licenses (CALs). The server license is crucial for enabling the server to manage, distribute, and stream IPTV content to the authorized client devices. This setup ensures that the customer’s server can effectively and securely handle the IPTV services, delivering content to the end-users in accordance with the licensing terms.
Together, these licenses ensure that WISI’s IPTV system is used efficiently and securely, with controlled access for both end-users and the central server managing the content distribution.

WISIon’s catch-up TV feature enhances the viewing experience by enabling users to access previously broadcasted content, including series, competitions, and entertainment programs, on demand. Unlike traditional Video on Demand (VoD), this feature allows users to select and view past broadcasts from specific dates and times via the Electronic Program Guide (EPG). It provides functionalities such as pausing, rewinding, and controlling playback, all within the local network to prevent data traffic issues. The catch-up TV service supports recording up to the hardware’s capacity and offers a more interactive and flexible TV experience, uniquely available through WISIon.
Property Management System (PMS) Integration
WISIon IPTV software and systems provide rich content, system and customer management on TVs and mobile platforms at hotels and resorts, hospitals, campuses, headquarters and other businesses. Customer satisfaction is increased by integration of WISion with property management system (PMS) which are used at facilities hence enterprises move into profit. PMS Integration in hotels and resorts allows guests to see their account status (View Billing), perform express check-out, order and receive invoices for services.
Integration to Third Party Systems is possible assuming necessary API is available.
